LDR began as Local Dad Repairs, dedicated to helping our neighbors maintain their homes. Though we no longer accept new clients for these small repair services, we still try to accommodate our long time clients with these smaller projects as we can. Today LDR is a full service design/build and renovation firm. We specialize in Passive House construction and certification methods, producing projects that can save the homeowner up to 90% on their energy costs.
Due to the incredible demand for experienced Passive House builders in our region, we no longer take on projects that are not passive science based new builds or full retrofits/renovations.
Jeff is certified in all phases of Passive House construction. He works with several Certified Passive House Consultants that specialize in the design and certification of the project while Jeff is Certified Passive House Tradesman and is the initial designer and production specialist. We design and build new homes, as well as specializing in retrofitting older homes to the Passive House standard, even historic homes. With all the funding available for deep energy retrofits today, it makes sense to seek out an experienced full service firm like LDR Group, rather than smaller and often less experienced companies for such important and exacting work.
